Cuando configuramos un anuncio en Google podemos hacerlo para que el usuario realice una llamada a nuestro negocio. Es una de las muchas funciones existentes en la plataforma, la que permite que cuando alguien busque algo en Internet nos encuentre en las primeras posiciones, aunque no estemos bien posicionados en el mundo SEO.
Lógicamente eso tiene un precio, cada vez que alguien hace un click en un anuncio o cada vez que alguien use la función de llamadas, pagaremos por ello, y dependiendo de la categoría y de la competencia, se puede pagar bastante.
Ahora Google Ads ha lanzado una nueva función que permite a los anunciantes grabar llamadas telefónicas que se producen a partir de anuncios o extensiones de llamadas, aunque de momento solo están disponibles en Estados Unidos.
El objetivo es examinar la calidad de la conversión más allá de solo mirar las llamadas totales y la duración de las llamadas.
Hoy en día existen proveedores de terceros que ofrecen seguimiento fuera de Google, pero los anunciantes más pequeños pueden tener una solución gratuita, ya en Google, para obtener una función semejante.
Google solo guardará grabaciones durante 30 días, y la grabación de llamadas incluye solo números en los EE. UU.
Para habilitar la grabación de llamadas, debemos tener habilitados los informes de llamadas en la cuenta, así como la propiedad del dominio verificado para todas las URL asociadas con anuncios de llamada y extensiones. Para activarla iremos a Configuración de la cuenta, accediendo desde allí a la sección Informe de llamadas. Pulsamos en «Activado» en «Guardar grabaciones de llamadas durante 30 días».
Lógicamente, las personas que llaman escucharán un mensaje que les informa que la llamada se está grabando.
Para escuchar grabaciones, iremos a Informes desde el menú superior. Seleccionaremos Informes predefinidos> Extensiones> Detalles de llamadas, y agregaremos la columna «Grabación» en el informe para reproducir el audio de la llamada.
